Middle East Schools
The Middle East School is purely a privately owned co-educational institution, officially opened in September 2001. The school was upgraded to the secondary level in 2005. The school offers British curriculum and it is one of the leading EDEXCEL centers in Bahrain. The secondary stage includes two different systems, the Bahraini system which goes with the general secondary stage system applied by the Ministry of Education in the Kingdom of Bahrain and the British certification system applied by Edexcel London. It trains the students for the IGCSE (O LEVEL) and GCE (AS &A LEVEL) examinations conducted by Edexcel International London.
