Cafe Amsterdam
Café Amsterdam has really made a name for itself since it opened in 2014, thanks to its unique food offering of contemporary European gastropub cuisine with a special focus on Anglo-Dutch foodie items. Located in Adliya alongside its sister restaurant La Vinoteca Barcelona, this eatery is based in a cozy and cute Dutch canal-style building reminiscent of the back streets of Amsterdam.
This little corner of the Netherlands boasts a variety of sublime food choices; their English breakfast is the best in town, featuring gourmet butcher sausages, sizzling bacon, authentic black pudding and many more tasty selections. If breakfast isn’t your thing, then we’d recommend the mouthwateringly delicious slow roasted short ribs and zesty chargrilled salmon! Besides its stellar reputation for its mains, Café Amsterdam also offers a scrumptious Afternoon Tea menu, featuring creamy cakes, macaroons, homemade scones, sandwiches and a variety of teas and coffees.
There’s a range of seating options, letting you pick the right set-up to suit your mood. The airy conservatory is a pretty unique space, while the large garden area is perfect to absorb the bubbling atmosphere and enjoy the weather at the same time.
Full of modern elegance, Café Amsterdam’s design and decor is a tasteful combination of cozy-chic art-deco reminiscent of the late 1920s period. The theme is definitively Dutch; floral wallpaper, bone china, old book volumes and a few bicycles proudly pay tribute to its Amsterdam heritage. Buzzing at nighttime with regular live music events in their garden area, this is the perfect venue to enjoy a fantastic atmosphere and unwind with friends.
