Basta 23 provides a unique dining experience, combining a unique décor ( derived from the great historical places in Bahrain and the middle east ) with an eclectic menu influenced by middle eastern tastes. Although comparisons are often made with the best of a 5 star dining , our restaurant aims not to compete with others but to achieve a distinct niche in the market that others cannot easily imitate . With an emphasis on value , our customers are a mix of business people , families , friends meeting friends , above all anyone who appreciates life’s finer moments in an atmosphere that is casual, relaxed and just a little refined .

However our customer come ,and always return for our food . The eclectic menu covers all the most popular Arabic / GCC dishes –all day breakfast (traditional Bahraini ) , homemade creative dishes , a wide range of fresh bread from our live traditional oven , salads and a variety of interesting traditional homemade style dishes including chicken ,fish and beef items non the less our wide range of traditional teas and Arabic coffee – all served with panache and with a beautiful presentation to attract every palate .

Each of our restaurants is run by qualified and experienced chef de cuisine and supervising all kitchens is our executive chef. The concept is complimented by the availability of many flavors of shisha (argileh), always popular especially in the evening s , served with different types of teas and desserts.
