Eighth Gulf Cup from 22/3/1986 – 7/4/1986
Renovation of stadium for the 14th Gulf Cup in 1998
Was re-renovated in early 2012 to host the 21st Gulf Cup football tournament in 2013

Has a capacity of 25,000 crowd

Cars parking area can hold up to 13,000
