The Bahrain Horse Racing Affairs Directorate is the regulatory authority governing all aspects of horse racing in the Kingdom of Bahrain.

BHRA is committed to developing horse racing as a premier sport event in the Kingdom of Bahrain on par with international standards, in adherence to the practices governing the sport and facilitating racing events that showcase and bring together top thoroughbreds in the racing industry alongside trainers and equine enthusiasts.

BHRA is responsible for developing the guidelines governing all aspects of racing, licensing, upholding the integrity of the sport, human capital engagement, equine protection and enforcing equitable standards in all racing and related activities.
